- Visual Identity
- Web Development
Borravino Wine Tours is an entrepreneurship specialising in providing boutique wine route experiences in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Spain. They contacted me to create a professional visual identity and a bespoke website focused on capturing new leads.
Research and Planning
After several HangOut meetings with the client, on which we shaped and collected some decisive aspects such as primary goals, brand values and target audience, we established the project guidelines and defined sections, pages and initial web content. These were key to developing the website's information architecture, prototype and design.
Visual Identity
The idea of the tour as a journey in which several places are visited in sequence was the key to unlocking this thought process and a way to provide the logotype with uniqueness and distinction. The client was delighted with the idea of the line connecting points, which could also enrich the project's visual language.
Bespoke Web Development
With all the visual identity elements defined, such as colours, typography and complementary assets, I prototyped the site with Adobe XD and presented it to the client for approval.
I coded all the pages using PHP as a language and MySql as a database, along with a custom-code CMS, allowing the client to log in and manage the dynamic site content, such as Tours, Fixed Departures and Wine Experiences.
Project Outcome
While online, this website achieved positive general performance and SEO, allowing the founder to capture leads and convert them into sales.
Sadly, a Divi Theme in WordPress has replaced this site recently, affecting the web flow I carefully crafted, the user experience and especially the web performance that dropped to 11 points on mobile.
